Refund Policy Clear Aligners and Retainers

If within the first 30 days of receiving your aligners you are not happy for any reason, contact us first. From there we can discuss your options. To be eligible for a refund, you must inform us before you return your unused aligners. Production fees may apply. The 30-day period begins the day your aligner treatment package is delivered to you. Please note you will be responsible for any return shipping charges. Once we receive your unused custom-made aligner treatment, the refund request will be reviewed and actioned accordingly within 10-15 working days. If you are past the initial 30-day period, and are still not satisfied with your treatment, Wondersmile will work with you to provide refinements to your treatment so you can achieve the smile you want. All cases are unique and your teeth can continue to shift and change gradually throughout. Only once treatment is complete can we fully determine if a desired outcome has been met, and often a simple refinement is all that's required to continue your journey to straighter teeth.
Wondersmile will determine if the clear aligners have been used by the customer as prescribed in the treatment plan and as according to the Terms and Conditions document signed at the start of treatment. This includes, but is not limited to the adherence to: the prescribed treatment time and weartime of aligners, and the monthly upload of progress photos to the dashboard. If prescribed treatment times and monthly uploads of progress photos have not been adhered to, Wondersmile reserves the right to refuse a refund.
If after completing your treatment plan as prescribed and have uploaded monthly progress photos to the Wondersmile dashboard for the duration of your treatment plan and it’s determined your treatment plan outcome has not been met, Wondersmile will work with you to complete a refinement scan to provide you with additional refinement aligners. Wondersmile will cover the cost of the re-scan and refinement aligners. Contact [email protected] to commence the refinement process.
If your aligner(s) becomes damaged or deemed faulty during your treatment, please wear your most recent fitting stage to prevent any further movement and contact us at [email protected] immediately. Wondersmile will work with you to address the issue and organise the provision of replacements. This may require a refinement scan and you may be asked to provide photos for quality control and review. If your retainer(s) becomes damaged or deemed faulty and you have had your retainer for under 6 months, please contact Wondersmile at [email protected] in order for us to review the provision of a replacement.
If you are experiencing any fitting issues with your aligners, please contact [email protected] for assistance. If you have a previous stage, please ensure you return to that stage to ensure your tooth position is kept.
Once we have your unused aligner package (if requested) and we have received your account information, our team will inspect and process the refund if applicable. Refunds typically take 10-15 business days to process. Refund times can vary depending on the nature of the refund.
Ensure that you have adhered to the treatment time frames as prescribed in your treatment plan and you have adhered to the monthly upload of progress photos. If you are concerned about the progress of your treatment or have completed your treatment, and have concerns about the outcome, please contact [email protected]. From here, Wondersmile may require some additional information, such as photos. Here we will determine your requirement for a refinement scan or possibility of a refund.

Cancellation Policy

Wondersmile allows cancelations of any appointment type up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Any cancellations after that time will forfeit the booking fee if one was charged for that appointment type.
Any cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment time will forfeit the booking fee if one was paid. You can book another appointment at any time booking fees will be charged again if applicable.
